Integrations

Integrations define how data is ingested into Dendra. Most of our ingestion methods are fully automated, once set up, with the exception of CSV import.

Our currently supported integration types are:

  • CSV Import
  • Campbell Scientific Station
  • Generic Data Source
  • LI-COR CloudLogger
  • NOAA GOES Station
  • Ranchbot Webhook
  • Swarm Webhook
  • The Things Network Webhook

Campbell Scientific provides LoggerNet as their primary method for retrieving data from Campbell brand dataloggers. If your organization has an existing LoggerNet server with LDMP activated, this can be set up.

  1. Select the station you have already set up in Dendra. Make sure the station is enabled.

  2. Make sure the site for the station has a geolocation and is enabled.

  3. Go to Tools > Data Setup > Configure Integrations.

  4. Click the blue + New button.

  5. New Integration

This will be an inbound integration. Select Campbell Scientific Station from Integration Type.

  6. Hit Next.

  7. Integrations require a station. Select your pre-configured station.

  8. Settings Three items are required for the orchestration to work properly.

    1. LDMP Integration: A connection to the LoggerNet server requires an IP address and port to connect to (e.g. 120.0.121.1:3167). Once created, the same integration can be used for other stations. You will be prompted to name the LoggerNet server.
    2. Station Name: (e.g. SantaCruzIsland). The name must match what is listed in LoggerNet exactly, including capitalization.
    3. Table Names: More than one table can be included here. Again: each name must match the table name in LoggerNet or on the datalogger exactly.
    4. Hit Save.
    5. Your integration is complete. Dendra will reach out and start pulling data from the LoggerNet instance.
  9. Navigate to Tools > Data Setup > Configure Datastreams.

  10. Select your station and confirm time zone.

  11. Select Use Existing Tables.

  12. You should now see your tables on the left, prefixed by the station name.

  13. You are now ready to move on to Configure Datastreams.
